Nick Wisdom (aka 1/2 of Potatohead People) returns to Bastard Jazz for his first solo release since 2017’s “Intimate Strangers” EP. “Be Like That” is a chugging dancefloor four on the floor jam with deep bass, an infectious guitar lick and low slung Moodyman-esque vocals from Nick. The Potatohead People vibe is in full effect as the track changes up midway with a trumpet line, a funky bassline, and Rhodes and synth pads. A welcome return back for this talented producer.
