Double Identity

Double Identity is the production alias of DJ Tomas, founder of Voltage Music, San Francisco. Tomas has been DJing since 1990 and producing original tracks and remixes since 1997. He's released music on labels such as Entartete Kunst, Bastard Jazz, K Records and Sunburn. In 1998, under the alias Live & Direkt (with Voltage artist Professor Smith), he produced the track "Why" for Ubiquity Records "No Categories Volume 1" compilation and did remixes for indie bands IQU and Dismemberment Plan. As Double Identity and his offshoot Dub I.D. DJ Tomas released four singles on Voltage Music between 2000-05, remixed cellist Bonfire Madian in '09 and most recently remixed Ninja Tune artist Poirier's song "Enemies".
