Baltimore born, Brooklyn residing for over 10 years, Dhundee has been developing his musical tastes and talents since the age of 7. Starting with training on drums and trombone. Now a pioneering musician, producer, and a DJ. Dhundee is steadily making his mark across many fields of the music industry.
Dhundee's release of Shoshot on Bastard Jazz is making it's mark with the worlds finest taste-makers. podcast and radio shows across the globe. Shoshot melds rave stabs with pondering jazz keys and heavy Bmore to Brooklyn beats. This is a heavy hitter for the dance floor.
In 09 Dhundee independently released his highly anticipated full length album: “Take Flight with songs written and produced by Dhundee himself. With collaborations with artist: Dego of (4Hero), Waajeed of (PPP & Bling47), Cecilia Stalin, Probe DMS, Kissey Asplund, and Grammy award winning Maya Azucena. He also has a remix of his track Tomorrow by recently retired producer Domu. Take Flight is now finding it’s wings as Dhundee tours and spreads his album world wide through his events, live shows and podcast which holds over 10,000 downloads per month world wide.
As a Dj, Dhundee serves up the sounds with his signature style of genre bending seamless flow from record to record. Performing throughout New York City, with appearances in Berlin, Munich, St Thomas, San Fran, Philly, Miami, Chicago, LA and London. He has shared the decks and stage with, Quest Love, Talib Kwali, The Roots crew, Bajah and the Dry Eye Crew, John Legend, Grandmaster Flash, SImbad, Daz I Kue, and many more.
On top of DJ’ing Dhundee is also the CEO and Creative Director of the award winning music production company: Sugarcuts Inc where he wrote and produced music for over 50 commercials for clients such as Disney, MTV, VH1, Comedy Central. He has won 3 gold BDA international awards for his musical compositions.
